On April 15-18, ElectroMobility Poland representatives took part in the 10th edition of the New Energy Industry Chain Expo 2025 (CLNB 2025) – one of the most important events of the new energy technology industry in Asia, held in Suzhou (Jiangsu, China). The conference included 15 thematic forums focusing on key elements of the NEV (New Energy Vehicles) sector value chain: from sourcing critical raw materials, battery materials and components, to energy storage, recycling and energy system transformation.
A special highlight was the Poland Investment Forum: Future Battery and New Energy Strategic Investment, organized by the Poland Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). The forum was opened by Paweł Pudłowski, vice president of PAIH, who emphasized Poland’s commitment to developing trade and innovation partnerships with Asia. Presentations were also made by representatives of ElectroMobility Poland and Colliers, and the event was also attended by representatives of Invest in Pomerania.
During the panel “Poland’s EV Strategic Hub – Core Partner in the NEV Industry and Incubator for Battery Value Chain Growth” the ElectroMobility Poland team presented a look at the challenges and trends shaping the global supply chain: regulatory fragmentation, institutional barriers and macroeconomic constraints affecting the development of integrated industrial links.
The event also featured a presentation of ElectroMobility Poland’s new investment project. The EMP delegation included:
As Beata Białoń-Dudek stressed:
Poland has a real chance to become an important point on the map of European electromobility. But it won’t happen on its own – cooperation, coordination of activities and one coherent strategy are needed.
Joanna Podkowa pointed to the global context of the challenges:
Today we face not only opportunities, but also very specific threats – technological, political and infrastructural. Electromobility is no longer a niche. It is an industry, technology, safety and strategic partnerships.
An important part of the delegation also attended Auto Shanghai 2025 – one of the most important automotive events in the world. This year’s edition of the fair, focused on electromobility and artificial intelligence, brought together nearly 1,000 exhibitors from around the world.
Vice President of the Management Board of ElectroMobility Poland, Lukasz Maliczenko, representing the company on site, held a series of business talks with representatives of leading industry companies on technology, investment and future directions.
As he emphasized:
The Auto Shanghai Fair is a space where visions meet real plans. Only an active presence in the international technological and industrial circuit offers a real chance to build a position in the future value chain.
He also pointed to the changing dynamics of automotive development on a global scale:
The extraordinary pace of Chinese automotive development shows that the key factor is openness to international technology partnerships, combined with determination to build its own brands and technological competence. This is a lesson that Europe, including Poland, should learn from.
Referring to the future of the sector, Lukas Malichenko pointed out:
In the dynamically changing automotive world, we must actively seek solutions that will allow Poland not only to maintain its position, but also to jump to a higher level.
ElectroMobility Poland has been consistently pursuing a project to build a production and development hub oriented towards the development of modern electromobility and high-voltage battery technologies. The project is part of a broader European strategy to strengthen economic resilience and technological sovereignty.
