A major step forward for EMP. The hub project has received a positive assessment from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

The Investment Committee of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) has approved the ranking list for the “Support Instrument for the Low-Emission Economy” program, under which ElectroMobility Poland applied for 4.5 billion PLN to develop its production and R&D hub in Jaworzno. The EMP project is one of only two initiatives that, following a formal application review and an in-depth assessment of the project’s assumptions, received a positive recommendation. The substantive evaluation—based on technical and business analyses—was conducted by an independent external entity cooperating with NFOŚiGW and specializing in the validation of large-scale industrial projects.

“The NFOŚiGW decision is a crucial milestone that provides the financial foundation for an investment we have been pursuing for many years. It opens the path to negotiations and the signing of an investment agreement, followed by the completion of the overall financing structure for the project. The new investment agreement will also enable us to finalize negotiations on a strategic partnership with a global automotive company,”
comments Tomasz Kędzierski, CEO of ElectroMobility Poland SA.

This assessment confirms that the analyses underpinning the concept of the production and development hub enable the project’s implementation on fully commercial terms. The core objective of the initiative is to operate in a framework that is optimal both for long-term commercial success and for advancing the state’s industrial policy—supporting the sustainable development of Poland’s automotive sector.
